WESTBROOK RACING YEAR END REVIEW OF THE SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  – Los Angeles, CA – December 7, 2025 —  Looking back at 2025, the Team at Westbrook Racing can be very proud to have developed and delivered on our Sustainability Plan which we developed at the end of 2024, This year marked a defining moment for the team, setting a strong benchmark for how a Team participating in a new and exciting electric motorsport can also act as a catalyst for environmental progress, education and meaningful local engagement.

This season was guided by a clear mission: Powering Performance with Purpose. This philosophy enabled the team to design and deploy a fully integrated sustainability strategy that reflects its identity and long-term vision. This was the first season in which Westbrook Racing could implement its purpose framework in full, resulting in a comprehensive, measurable and internationally recognised programme that stood out across the E1 Championship.

Throughout the year, the team collaborated with respected organisations including the G20 CORDAP, Run Blue, Universities, local governments, and NGOs. Each initiative was shaped to generate tangible impact while creating lasting value for host communities.

Among the most visible actions was a series of community runs organised alongside global water advocate Mina Guli and the Run Blue movement. These activations mobilised local residents, students, and partners to raise awareness about the global water crisis, turning each race weekend into a platform for both sport and social mobilisation.

A major milestone came as Westbrook Racing became the first team in the E1 Series to sign the Sports for Nature Framework, embedding nature-positive principles across all operations. Whether in race planning, community outreach, or long-term environmental commitments, the team consistently adopted regenerative tourism principles—ensuring that each destination was left better than it was found. Race weekends became opportunities for ecosystem restoration, scientific collaboration and community empowerment.

Across all race venues, the team’s presence was hands-on and impactful. Westbrook Racing partnered with local environmental groups, carried out coastal cleanups and restoration projects and delivered workshops designed to inspire youth and broaden environmental literacy. The team developed digital biodiversity maps highlighting local ecosystems, encouraging broader public engagement.

Collaborations with universities and STEM programmes provided students with close exposure to sustainability and innovation in sport, making youth engagement one of the defining hallmarks of the season. Our extensive STEM collaborations, environmental actions with community groups, conservation with activations at every race location. Team members also participated in international forums such as the Lisbon Web Summit. These collective efforts established and strengthened long-term partnerships and reinforces the team’s position as one of the leading sustainability actors in the series.

As the season concludes, Westbrook Racing will reflect on a legacy of meaningful, measurable impact—demonstrating that a racing team can compete at the highest level while driving genuine contributions to ocean protection, climate awareness, and community empowerment. The team also acknowledges the wider efforts across the championship, celebrating a shared commitment to protecting marine environments and advancing the role of responsible sport worldwide.
