RUN FOR WATER
Run Blue, Westbrook Racing’ sustainability partner, is a global initiative founded by water advocate Mina Guli to raise awareness about the global water crisis and inspire action to protect and restore rivers and water systems. By organizing large-scale endurance events, such as running marathons along major rivers, Run Blue emphasizes the critical connection between healthy water systems and addressing climate, biodiversity, and water-related challenges.
As part of Westbrook Racing’s sustainability strategy, Run Blue will organize physical and virtual runs, uniting motorsport fans, athletes, and environmental advocates to amplify the urgent message of water conservation. These events not only showcase the team’s commitment to sustainability but also highlight how sports and community engagement can drive meaningful environmental change, inspiring collective action for a more sustainable future.

INTEGRATING SUSTAINABILITY INTO RACE WEEKENDS
The Coral Research & Development Accelerator Platform (CORDAP) is an initiative launched in 2020 by 17 G20 nations to address the critical challenges facing coral reefs globally. It is the only international platform dedicated exclusively to funding research and development (R&D) for coral conservation and restoration. Governed by an international committee and supported by voluntary contributions from G20 members, non-member countries and philanthropic organizations, CORDAP is managed by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
CORDAP focuses on scalable, innovative, and accessible solutions for coral reef resilience, conservation, and restoration. Their efforts include funding R&D programs like the Coral Accelerator Program, which has invested $18 million in projects globally since 2022. The platform emphasizes open-source collaboration, equity and inclusivity, driving advancements that directly impact coral ecosystems at both tropical and deep-water levels.
In Season 2, CORDAP is Westbrook Racing’s Local Impact Partner. helping the team integrate its sustainability and marine conservation efforts into race weekends.
