Kicking off on January 24/25th in Jeddah, the 2025 calendar features seven thrilling races:

Expanding Horizons in 2025

The UIM E1 World Championship, founded by Alejandro Agag and launched in 2024 continues to capture global attention, boasting a cumulative TV audience of 180 million and a combined social media reach of 73 million. With celebrity investors like Tom Brady, Rafael Nadal, and Didier Drogba, the championship has grown to include 10 teams, with potential for two more. Westbrook Racing, co-owned by Will Smith, Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio and Alshair Fiyaz is ready to compete in a field brimming with new talent and fierce competition.

After finishing second in the inaugural season, Westbrook Racing retains its core team, ensuring stability and continuity. The team welcomes Ana Agostinho, a respected sustainability leader, as they enhance their commitment to environmental impact through the E1 Series’ Blue Impact Championship. Team Leadership

Led by Team Principal Phillip Allen, the team benefits from a wealth of expertise throughout. Phil’s leadership, combined with the technical skills of Guy Barron, the performance engineering of Farhaan Shaikh, and the coaching prowess of Steve Curtis MBE, forms a formidable backbone for the team’s operations. Javier Alvarez Casqueiro ensures our RaceBird is always pristine and race-ready, while Commercial and Marketing Director Yan Lefort spearheads Marketing, Communication and Sponsorship.

The Pilots

Westbrook Racing’s dynamic duo, Sara Price and Lucas Ordóñez, return for 2025. Sara, a decorated racer with titles across motocross, off-road, and rally disciplines, made history at the Dakar Rally in 2024 and is competing again at Dakar 2025 before going us for Jeddah. Lucas, a trailblazer from the Nissan GT Academy, has achieved global acclaim, including podiums at Le Mans. Together, they bring exceptional skill, speed and strategy to the racing.

New Race Format

The 2025 UIM E1 World Championship introduces a revised format to enhance strategy and viewer engagement. Races will feature a new short lap, one long lap, and up to five standard laps, with teams alternating pilots. The one-design E1 Racebird has also been upgraded to include a new boost option. Qualifying now includes two stages: timed laps followed by head-to-head races that determine group stage positions with some extra championship points available. Race day features group stages, a Race Off for a place in the Final, a Place Race, and two Final races to crown the event winner. First across the line in the last race WINS !

Sustainability at the Core

Westbrook Racing is committed to making a lasting impact through its sustainability activities. The team’s initiatives focuses on empowering communities and protecting the environment through water preservation initiatives. Acqua Fiuggi will serve as the official water partner, while Triple Sea Food’s premium brands, Vesta and Casa Fiori Chiari, will bring Milanese sophistication to the team. Both partnerships will debut at the opening race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on January 24-25.
