The finale of the 2025 UIM E1 World Championship Presented by PIF, the world’s first all-electric powerboat series, will take place in Miami. The highly anticipated E1 Miami GP, scheduled for 7-8 November 2025, will mark a historic milestone as the series makes its North American debut.
The announcement, made on December 12, took place during a spectacular event in Miami, hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist and Miami resident Marc Anthony. The event celebrated E1’s groundbreaking partnership with the city and its focus on combining technology with environmental sustainability. The E1 Miami GP represents a major step forward in the series’ commitment to preserving and restoring global coastal ecosystems while showcasing the thrill of electric powerboat racing on a global stage.
The E1 Miami GP will take place on Virginia Key, next to the historic Miami Marine Stadium, regarded as the spiritual home of American powerboating. Opened in 1963, the stadium has a storied legacy, having hosted iconic events like the Orange Bowl Regatta and the Bill Muncey Invitational. With the E1 Championship returning to this legendary site, the event will not only deliver exhilarating racing but also contribute to the ongoing efforts to revitalize the stadium and surrounding area.
Will Smith, co-owner of Westbrook Racing, expressed his excitement: “Miami has always been a city of energy, style, and innovation, so it’s the perfect place for E1’s North American debut. I’m proud to see Westbrook Racing play a role in pushing forward electric racing and sustainability in such an iconic venue.”

Hosting the E1 finale here combines the city’s rich boating history with a clear vision for the future of sustainable racing. Westbrook Racing is thrilled to be part of such an exciting chapter for both Miami and the E1 Championship.”
As the largest recreational boating market in the world, the United States represents a key strategic opportunity for the E1 Championship’s expansion. With strong backing from celebrity team owners such as Tom Brady, Steve Aoki, and Marc Anthony, the series is set to captivate fans while advancing its mission of clean water and marine ecosystem restoration.
