FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 23rd 2025, Jeddah, KSA — Westbrook Racing is excited to announce the renewal of its partnership with Sparco for the 2025 E1 Series season. The season kicks off in Jeddah on January 25th, and both organizations are eager to continue delivering high-performance, sustainable solutions to the racing world.
Westbrook Racing’s pilots, Sara Price and Lucas Ordoñez, will compete wearing Sparco’s custom-made racing suits, shoes, and gloves as they pilot the team’s iconic Race Bird. Team owner Will Smith has also received a personalized Sparco racing suit, ensuring every member of the Westbrook Racing family is equipped with Sparco’s renowned precision-engineered gear.
This collaboration highlights a shared commitment to sustainability, a cornerstone of Sparco’s operations and an essential part of Westbrook Racing’s comprehensive 2025 sustainability program. Diego Lamura, CMO of Sparco, commented: “Our partnership with Westbrook Racing exemplifies our mission to innovate sustainably in motorsport. With the Sparco FULL EFFICIENCY life cycle project, we are proud to offer racing gear that combines unparalleled performance with a commitment to reducing environmental impact.”
The Sparco FULL EFFICIENCY project leverages over 45 years of racing expertise to introduce a groundbreaking, zero-waste production model. Certified Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) guided the development of innovative fiber-spinning and weaving techniques, enabling Sparco to regenerate unused materials into high-quality products. This initiative ensures that over 51% of Sparco’s production originates from regenerated fibers, reaffirming the brand’s leadership in sustainable motorsport innovation.
“Partnering with Sparco allows us to align our racing ambitions with our sustainability goals,” said Yan Lefort, Marketing & Communication Director of Westbrook Racing. “Their innovative FULL EFFICIENCY project and commitment to circular production align perfectly with our vision for a more sustainable future in motorsport.”
Sparco’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is further reflected in the publication of its 2021 and 2022 Sustainability Reports, which underline the company’s dedication to innovation, transparency, and environmental stewardship.
The renewal of this partnership between Westbrook Racing and Sparco represents not just a collaboration between two leading names in motorsport but a shared vision for a sustainable future.
