Angola Westbrook Racing has launched dedicated waste management and recycling stations across its race weekend operations as part of the Team’s “Powering Performance with Purpose” sustainability strategy and its ongoing commitment to reducing operational environmental impact throughout the UIM E1 World Championship.
The initiative has been developed to support more efficient waste separation and recycling within the high-intensity paddock environment, where operational schedules and venue logistics can create challenges for consistent waste management during events. By installing dedicated recycling and waste collection stations close to core team operations, Angola Westbrook Racing aims to improve accessibility to responsible waste disposal practices for team personnel, suppliers and guests throughout race weekends.
Waste collected through the stations will be separated and processed through local recycling and waste management systems at each race destination. The initiative also supports the Team’s broader sustainability objectives, including reducing reliance on single-use plastics, improving operational sustainability practices and contributing to a positive environmental impact in host locations across the championship calendar.
The project forms part of Angola Westbrook Racing’s wider sustainability platform focused on practical and measurable environmental action integrated directly into race operations. Through initiatives spanning operational efficiency, community engagement and environmental awareness, the Team continues to strengthen its role in supporting higher sustainability standards within electric marine motorsport.
